Robert Jetton is a multi- talented artist and singer/songwriter/performer. He has excelled in both realms, from painting the murals at The Wildhorse Saloon and commissioned paintings for high-profile clients to writing the title track for T.G. Sheppard's album "Nothing On But The Radio" and having his songs performed on TV, movies, internet and radio.
Robert is a native of Fort Worth, Texas. At the age of eight he was awarded a scholarship for art instruction at the Fort Worth Modern Art Museum. By high school, he was painting water color portraits at Six Flags. He later was a scholarship art major at Texas Christian University.
His musical success brought him to Nashville to record with Bobby Bare for Monument Records and work with legendary art personality, Dave Hickey. There he met Marshall Chapman who was so impressed with Robert and band that she invited them to support her on tour. When Robert scored a publishing deal with Merle Haggard's Shade Tree Publishing Co., Nashville became his home. Through the years Robert has worked with artists ranging from Garth Brooks to REM.
While pursuing his music, Robert made good use of his artistic talents. He became a master of faux finishes and painted hundreds of murals. Through the years he has done countless portraits, commissioned paintings and music related commercial art.
